Our Story
Alison established ImagineThinkDo in 2011, successfully providing executive coaching and organisation development consulting to an array of customers.
In 2020 after years of inspiring and challenging each other Russell joined the company bringing our talents together, broadening our portfolio and approach. Between us we have a unique combination of skills.
Our careers have taken very different paths; from financial services to strategy and change consulting, to culture change and executive coaching for Alison, and from engineering to programme management, to business management and thought leadership for Russell. We are both passionate about people development yet come at it from very different angles.
Russell starts from an engineer’s perspective; he researches ideas, gathers facts and joins dots. His thought leadership is the inspiration for what we bring to you.
Alison starts from a behavioural change perspective; she looks at what it will take to enable such change and works with individuals and teams to embed new ways of working. We believe that the combination of our talents brings you more than either of us could bring individually.
Our different perspectives and our ability to challenge and build on each other’s ideas add a richness and depth to what we offer. It also makes working more fun, which shows in the passion and energy we bring to everything we do.

Alison Beck
Alison has a rich history of working as a Consultant, Executive Coach and Facilitator with a very broad mix of clients, from huge global corporations to small non-profits. She has a great respect for difference and a passion for drawing out the unique perspectives of everyone to create diverse insights and innovative solutions to business issues.
She has a creative and non-judgemental approach, tapping into her clients’ curiosity and interest to achieve in pragmatic and well-supported solutions. Russell Beck
Russell is a thought leader. He is a catalyst who is great at using research and insight to challenge your preconceptions. His clients tell us he is a passionate presenter who joins the dots and makes things real. Russell brings broad experience from a diverse career.
He has held many top roles including working as an engineer managing large-scale international projects, leading a £120m talent management business and growing a successful consulting operation from scratch.
